The unit was completely renovated in 2014. The unit sleeps 6. The new kitchen has granite countertops, new cabinets, stainless appliances. The bathrooms have quartz countertops and new cabinets, and the condo has been painted throughout. There are ceiling fans in living area and all bedrooms. This is 1,760 sq ft of living space in a private, quiet 12-unit complex with secure entry to the elevator and covered parking.

See beautiful Gulf views from the wrap around balcony, living room, dining area and kitchen. There is abundant natural light - all rooms have southern facing windows and there is an open concept floor plan in the living area and kitchen. The master suite has a king bed, private bath, walk-in closet, 42" flat screen tv w/ cable and a private balcony. The nautical room (guest bedroom #1) has two queen beds, access to the shared bath, 42" flat scree tv w/cable and a walk-in closet. The teal room (guest bedroom #2) has a king bed with lots of closet space and 42" flat screen tv w/cable. Cable and Wi-Fi are included at no additional cost.

Sunshine is right on the beach only steps from the Gulf of Mexico with restaurants, shopping and site-seeing destinations close by. This gulf front condo is located between Clearwater and St. Petersburg with easy access to Tampa and St. Pete's airports. Our Gulf Boulevard location is a quaint area with the Florida vacation vibe. Golf courses and tourist destinations, such as Disney, Busch Gardens, Sea World and Universal Studios, are close by for day trip adventures.
You will find the Gulf Side pool your favorite place to be!

About the owner-
For the Kilbourn family from Suttons Bay, Michigan. Fred and Patty and their children, Fred and Melissa, operated a family run bed and breakfast, Lee Point Inn from 1990 until 2018 and now host a short-term rental in Traverse City, MI. As Michigan winters seemed to be getting longer and colder, we wanted to find a warm place for family vacations. Patty is a California native and was looking for a beautiful beach and palm trees. Sunshine on Indian Shores is perfect for our family. We wanted to be on the gulf in a smaller complex with 3 bedrooms. This home exceeds our expectations in so many ways. Because it is a smaller complex, it a has a very home like feel. It is a southwest facing corner unit with 550 feet of wrap around balcony off the living room and is very spacious with 1760 square feet of living space, large bedrooms, wonderful natural light with south facing windows in all the rooms. We purchased this condo in 2014 as a fixer upper and it is completely renovated, including a new kitchen and bathrooms. It also features covered parking with a secured lobby entrance. We enjoy sharing it with other travelers. The view is spectacular!


Just a few things we need to mention:
Our home is offered for your vacation enjoyment. The facility does not allow parties or events.
This is a smoke free property. There is no smoking allowed in the unit or anywhere on the property grounds! Thank you in advance for adhering to the NO SMOKING rules.
Pets are NOT allowed.
For the safety of your children and in consideration of other guests, parents must always supervise their children.

Arrival Instructions: Once your booking has been finalized, we will email you our contact information and specific instructions for pick up keys at our local office. Be sure to check your SPAM folder for our emails.

Self-Catering: The unit is being offered as a self-catering accommodation. The unit is stocked with enough basics to get you going for the first night. Should you run out of anything during your stay, you will need to provide your own supplies. Grocery stores and other shops are just a short drive away. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need. Wi-Fi and basic cable are provided at no additional cost. Beds are made up with fresh bed linen and bath towels are provided. The unit is equipped with a washer/dryer should you need to wash any clothes or linens during your stay. Housekeeping services are not provided on a day-to-day basis, so we have provided cleaning equipment to enable you to clean the floor and wipe any surfaces when needed during your stay. At the end of your stay, wash and put away any dishes, empty the fridge and cupboards and take the trash out to the bins before you leave. A minimum charge of $300 will apply for missing linens and/or housekeeping services that exceed normal use. A minimum charge of $1,000 will apply for smoking in the property.

Transportation: The unit is located approximately 20 miles from Tampa International Airport, and 12 miles from St. Petersburg - Clearwater International Airport. Ground transportation is available through ridesharing services, as well as Super Shuttle. Estimated taxi fare is $65 (one-way). Estimated Super Shuttle fare is $65 (one-way). Getting around Pinellas barrier-island beach towns is inexpensive, fun, easy, and convenient when you take advantage of the Pinellas Suncoast Beach Trolley (PSTA) service. The Suncoast Beach Trolley runs from Clearwater Beach (north) to Pass-A-Grille (south) and stops at specially marked "Trolley Stop" locations along the entire Gulf Blvd route.

Pet Policy: Pets are not permitted in this property. Any violation of this will result in immediate eviction of the property and forfeiture of monies paid.

Accidental Damage Protection: INSURANCE as listed in Homeaway/VRBO "other charges" will cover up to $3,000 of unintentional damage to the rental unit that occurs during your stay. Intentional damage of damage that exceeds the maximum will be charged to the credit card on file. In lieu of the insurance a $2,000 damage deposit will be required upon final payment.
